I moved to Pensacola from Rhode Island 2 years ago and the one and ONLY thing I missed was my BJ’s. Now it’s coming here and my life is complete. I can’t wait.
i was a member in daytona. yes 55 dollar membershipdaytona store had bakery. much larger selection of fresh meat. than sams better selection in cheese and dairy. and more fresh produce many items were in a bit smaller pack for smaller families. they print there own coupons and take manufacture coupons , gas was the always cheaper there
I really enjoyed BJ’s in my previous state. I hope this one has a deli, they offered really low prices compared to the other stores around, hope this will be true here as well!
The only thing BJ’s need to do to best Sam’s is to put on 4 cashiers. That would be twice as many as Sam’s uses.
I’m happy to see some use for the space. Not surprised to see the building being demolished as there were a lot of issues since Hurricane Ivan hit that mall. There was a lot of damage that was never properly fixed. The employees of that sears worked in horrible conditions in a very hot building the last few weeks the Sears was open. The AC unit could not be fixed. I’ve heard of BJs before and if it offers stuff at a savings will give it a try…gas station is welcomed as well. And many will enjoy the liquor store.
I suspect to get gas at BJ’s you’ll need to be a member, just like at Sams Club.
Something tells me Sam’s comment was sarcasm. In other news, a gas station in that area would be welcome. There’s SIX gas stations in Cantonment along Highway 29 (I’m not complaining, it keeps the prices down- hey Bernie Sanders, take note) but only about 1-2 along the Davis Hwy corridor. The stations on Davis can’t gilch drivers at whatever price they want because…there’s nobody else there to give them competition. Anyway, glad to see the old building(s) being used for something.
Neverheard of BJ’s, was hoping it was going to be a Costco, already a Sam’s member so I would not be interested in paying another membership fee, in regards to the statement about gas stations, there is definitely not an overabundance of gas stations on Davis Hwy, but there are more than 1 in the area described, I counted 6…
SAM, do you like under a rock? THere is ONE gas station on Davis Hwy between 9mile road and Fairfield…Yep we got way to many gas stations on the BUSIEST ROAD in the county…SMH
Sam we care putting all the Nursing Homes in 5points where its nice and quiet.
Just what we need – another gas station and liquor store! Why not add a storage facility, car wish and nursing home? We seem to be short on each of them.
Did they have to demolish the building? Seems a shame, but it’s the owner’s prerogative.
Good one tg!!!
Business would do better in Pensacola and they know it
All along i thought those airline tickets were to bring BJs to Century.
