I am thankful for them fixing it. But this is the fourth break in my service since Friday. I really hope it stays fixed this time. Clear water would be nice too…

You don’t realize how much you depend on utility service until it’s missing. I will second Rasheed Jackson’s comment here with a HUGE THANKS to our Central Water Works employees for working through the night to restore water service!

Finding you have no water at 10 p.m. is such an inconvenience but not as bad as the young men who have to get out at 10 pm and repair the leak. So a big thanks to the Central Water Works crew for their efforts in restoring the water. While we were at home sleeping in our nice dry beds they were knee deep in mud and muck repairing the broken line so we would have water this morning. Again THANKS GUYS!!!

UPDATE: As of 6:30 a.m. today, repairs have been completed and water service will slowly return to customers. Water pressure will be low while we flush hydrants to clear the water mains as quickly as possible. Customers living at high elevations will be the last to have water service restored. If your water appears cloudy, please pour the water into a clear glass, wait a minute, and see if the cloudiness disappears. If it does, it’s simply air bubbles that will have to work their way through the system. If the milky appearance does not disappear after a minute or two, please call our office as soon as possible at 850-256-3849.
