Washington’s Birthday is Feb 22! Lincolns Birthday is Feb 12th! One of my boys was born on Washington’s bday, then the next year my other son was born on Lincoln’s birthday. Back in the day we used to celebrate on those days…truly miss the good old days!!!

I suppose being in the school system for 39 years and trying to impart a bit of “hysterical” to those that may grasp such, I just wished to make sure ALL knew ’bout the 22nd as George Birthingtons’s Washday!

The holiday is legally Washington’s Birthday, observed on the third Monday of February (so it never falls on his actual birthday of February 22). It is often referred to as President’s Day, but that is not the official name of the holiday.
