Came upon this incident just as it happened. Wondered if the time of day was a factor. Sunset makes visibility limited in addition to a hazardous intersection with many accidents. Glad the children were restrained.
One reason – not to say it caused this one- – but people often do not stop at the stop sign. I pass this intersection almost every day and I have more seen than one car come flying down 9 1/2 Mile Road and barely hit the brakes before turning onto Pine Forest Rd
So thankful the children were not injured..
I just don’t understand Why there are so many wrecks at that location. Perhaps it’s due to the northbound turn lane there. The visibility is very awkward.
Something needs to be done to correct it.
I hope the person injured is ok.
