Tate Graduate Continues Run On ‘Who Wants To Be a Millionaire’
December 29, 2018
Tate High School’s 2017 valedictorian and current University of West Florida student Samantha Brown appeared Friday night on “Who Wants To Be a Millionaire” and will return to continue play Monday night.
Sam Brown turned to her mom Clarissa Brown as a lifeline for help about the total numbers of squares found on the standard Scrabble board. They correctly answered 225 to reach the $10,000 level.
“Who Wants To Be a Millionaire” airs weekdays on WEAR 3.

Awesome!! I’m so proud!!!
How did she do? I forgot to watch. . .
Congratulations!! They announced her as a UWF student but didn’t mention Tate. So, she’s a real Cantonment resident! You go, girl!
AWESOME ! Proud of you !
Hope you win it all. Great job.
WooHoo Samantha!
Go Sam!! I had Mrs. Brown for homeroom back in 7th grade at Ransom; amazing teacher.
Congratulations Sam from another Tate alumni from years ago, always like to see young people doing good, and you sure representing them very well. Come on, win that million, we are all here for you in Pensacola and surrounding areas.
Just want to say CONGRATULATIONS! If you believe, and I want to think you do, then you’ll go far. Keep it up!

Keep it going Samantha!
Thank goodness for Momma’s, especially one as smart as Clarissa Brown!
Way to go Samantha! Watched you last night and will catch the show again Monday evening. Hoping you win big!
Ms. Brown, you were very refreshing and enjoyable for us to watch last night.
Wishing you continued success in answering the sometimes brain-twisting questions on Millionaire.
You are a Great Example of how far a young person can go and how much they can accomplish when they put the effort and dedication into a good path.
God Bless and Thank you and the teachers at Tate High.
Very nice to see GOOD news.
GO GO GO! Win the million!
