One Injured When Ceiling Collapses A Hadji Temple
December 1, 2018
One person was injured when a drop ceiling collapsed Saturday morning at the Hadji Temple on Nine Mile Road.
County officials say the collapse was the result of a water leak.
One adult female was transported by EMS to Sacred Heart Hospital as a trauma alert. No one else was trapped or injured in the incident.

Hadji Shrine temple is inspected almost every year by the fire marshal and monthly for our kitchen operation. The lady that was injured has our thoughts and prayers on a speedy recovery. Our Mission is to help people more especially children, It is not to hurt them.
It looks like the collapse exposed some mold.
I’m new to Pensacola. I’ve seen this building often going down Nine Mile Rd. What is the building actually the history of it? Is it a hotel or a worship place? Can anyone drive up to it and like walk around and see the place or is it private like a church? The first time I saw it headed west on Nine Mile it was like What is that building?! It seemed to be such a contrast to Raceway and Lowes/Home Depot across the street out of place with the businesses!! And then all those campers and vehicles behind it is that connected or just a storage facility for RVs and such? So glad everyone was okay and the lady who did get hurt heals soon.
that building has been there along time.maybe it should be inspected from time to time.things arent made to last a life time
Even with the collapse of the entrance area ceiling, the Pensacola Model Railroad Club’s Annual Railfest Train Show and Sale is still going on! We are open today, Sunday, from 10 a.m. until 4 p.m. We are using the west side door entrance to the Hadji!
Our members and vendors were able to extricate the one injured lady before EMS/Fire got there! Bravo to the able bodied men and prayers for the lady’s swift recovery.
I hope the lady will be OK. We just never know. I’ve been it that building and never once thought the ceiling could cave in, not just at this building, but any building..
