‘Grinch’ Steals Tree From North Escambia Church (With Video)

The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office is looking for a “grinch” that stole a ficus tree from a North Escambia church.
The man pulled up in front of the Gonzales United Methodist Church and proceeded to stuff the large tree into the backseat of his car (video below).
“Maybe his heart will grow three sizes and he’ll come forward and turn himself in and return the Ficus. If not, we need your help to identify this suspect,” the Sheriff’s Office said in a social media post.
Anyone with information on the suspect is asked to call the ECSO at (850) 436-9620 or Crime Stoppers at (850) 433-STOP.

Sad thing for this Bama fan is that the members of the church would probably given you the shirts off their back if you asked. Instead now you will likely be spending his birthday in jail.
Time to build that wall and keep those Alabamians from taking our jobs and belongings!
Just in case you didn’t notice, from the angle of the imagery, you can tell where the camera is. Unless there are others not shown, it might be wise to move it…or maybe camouflage it in Christmas decorations. After all, nobody would steal Christmas decorations from a church, right?

Stealing is wrong, and there is nothing I hate worse than a thief. I could half way understand if he stole a Christmas Tree this time of year, but a ficus tree makes no sense at all.

The car should be easy to spot=right front fender looks to be black primer and sticks out like a sore thumb.Stealing from a church….how sad that is. Someone knows this guy and since so many people read North Escambia maybe they will recognize him and let him know he’s “famous” and shame him into returning the tree.
