Trump Brings Republican Campaign Message To Escambia County (With Gallery)

November 4, 2018

President Donald Trump brought his “Make America Great Again” message to Pensacola Saturday evening along with a simple message — get out and vote Republican.

As Lee Greenwood’s “God Bless the USA” played, Trump walked on stage where  he was greeted by Vice President Mike Pence.

“If this election is based on crowds, they might as well cancel it because we won,” Trump said as supporters waived “Keep American Great”, “Stand Up for America” and “Finish the Wall” signs behind him.

“This is a big beautiful crowd. Pensacola, Florida, we love it. I love the state of Florida, and I tell you we love the Panhandle.”

Trump’s “Make America Great Again” rally came just three days before Tuesday’s general election.

“In just three days, the people of Florida are going to elect Rick Scott and Ron DeSantis,” Trump said. He also pitched for Ashley Moody, candidate for attorney general; Matt Caldwell, running orr agriculture commissioner; Jimmy Patronis, CFO candidate; and Congressional incumbent Matt Gaetz. Each spoke before the rally, including Gaetz who led rousing chants of “build that wall”.

Trump recognized Atmore native and heavyweight champ Evander Holyfield, and he invited former Florida State University coach Bobby Bowden onstage.

Trump’s speech took place in a new ST Engineering hangar at the Pensacola International Airport with Air Force One just outside the hanger doors. An estimated 3,000 people attended the rally.

” Note , Outside the hangar AF one is not the 747 . It is an old 707 called a VC….
Using a cheaper aircraft to get around in that does not have all the Presidential systems that the real AF one has.”

    You are incorrect sir.
That airplane is a Boeing C-32 which is called a 757 in the civilian world. The 707 you are referring to, SAM2700, was decommissioned in 2001.

“Don’t show the nation your ignorance.”

    Too late.

To respond to a previous comment: politics aside, what do you call a mob of people forcefully entering a country? I need to know so I won’t offend the person(s), who decides to take up residence in my house.

President Trump’s “Promises Made, Promises Kept” slogan says it all for me. He needs our votes to elect those who will help him secure our borders, lower our taxes, and continue bringing jobs back to the USA

Some people just love being lied to and entertained. I guess that’s why we like a fisherman’s long tales. It’s fun! It’s fun to yell Lock Her Up! It’s fun to yell Build the Wall! It’s fun and exciting in a scary way to think women and children are invading our country and the men will rape our women. It’s like we’re watching a suspense movie. What will he say next. Oh the suspense! /s

    Vote Tuesday !!!

Thanks for showing the picture of the crowd.

To Quote our President yesterday…“In Rick’s case, he’s going against somebody that’s falling asleep,” Trump said. “And in Ron’s case, he’s going against somebody who’s got a lot of energy, but he runs one of the worst — one of the biggest problem cities anywhere in the country.” So I guess the Panhandle and Tallahassee are just as bad as as the many 3rd rate cities he brags about.

Concerned Citizen…..Yes Gov. Scott did sign a Bill that changed the age of young gun owners. That was wrong. As for Constitutional Rights, Democrat’s sworn in office place their hand on the Bible and swore to uphold our Constitution. Most of them lied. They want all of guns. I wish everyone would read our Constitution and all of the Amendments and then there would be no problem seeing who is trying very hard to uphold all of our Constitution. Thanks for voting for Donald Duck.

The Greatest President this Country has ever seen. Needs to have his likeness chiseled on Mt. Rushmore.

I am truly amazed at the people on this post that are not looking at the bigger picture and the outcome of not voting for the right candidate. There is no one candidate that has a perfect record and to deliberately not vote for a real candidate (Concerned Citizen voting Donald Duck) hurts your party and does nothing for our country! You should vote for your concerns, your values and your good conscious and not be swayed by other peoples’ opinions. I have already voted my choices, and I would never take into consideration anyone’s “opinion” over what this country really needs. Vote Republican or Democrat or whatever; just vote for a real candidate and not waste a precious vote!

YUK, this man is not the saint you all think he. The highest employment rates in America was under Clinton and that was without the debt Reagan put in place. IT is what Trump is doing selling out your grandchildren to make you happy with a wink and a nod. You and boy are you sucking it up like, well you know what.

  16. Charlotte Bates on November 4th, 2018 12:32 pm

Trump a lier????? That is so funny. Check out the other crap that the Clintons have done, and Obama. I’ve never in my life have seen so much hatred in my life. Read the book, “The truth about Hillary”, sent chills up my spine. I normally don’t get into politics, have no interest in it, but when I started seeing all the crap, people being paid to lie about him, and other people, it made my blood boil.

Right on Bartender! It is sad that he had to speak well of the candidate who put everything in his wife’s name. President Trump will go down in history as an American hero. The other should lose ground and go down. Wonderful to see Bobby Bowden again too.

  18. M in Bratt on November 4th, 2018 9:58 am

@bartender; would you rather elect a professional politician or another successful businessman to congress? Just look at the facts, Fl, is rated the highest rating in fiscal health out of 50 states, and we do it without a state income tax. We have the lowest unemployment that we have seen in decades. We have a corporate income tax that encourages business development rather than the exorbitant rates that some states apply. Scott has gotten rid of regulations, and lowered fees on things we all have to have. He is in favor of term limits for congress. So I say, give me some more of Scott, and other candidates like him

  19. Frank on November 4th, 2018 9:53 am

You may not Like Rick Scott But he is SO much better than the alternative… if you don’t vote for those who support Trump- ya can see the Economic turn around to turn around in the wrong direction…. I am not a fan of Trump but the Ault-Leftist have gone MAD!

  20. Just a dude on November 4th, 2018 9:32 am

Certainly not in trump. Every word that come out of his mouth is a lie.

  21. Rational on November 4th, 2018 9:15 am

How embarrassing for the people of Pensacola to support a President that every speech embellishes (lies) and is proven false. Wake up before it is too late. Don’t show the nation your ignorance.

  22. Concerned Citizen on November 4th, 2018 9:09 am

Don’t forget. Gov.Scott also signed a bill into law that cancelled the 2nd amendment rights of those 18 to 21 years of age. I personally voted for Donald Duck. I will never vote for someone who is so easily convinced to strip us of our constitutional rights.

  23. Molino, FL resident on November 4th, 2018 8:55 am

WOW. Just look at those people. So many. Absolutely wonderful.

  24. Grand Locust on November 4th, 2018 6:19 am

I am not so much like Ted Cruz. When someone insults you, I stay insulted. Sorry, the dumb southerner comment was his truth and his love of the Panhandle masks his true feelings. Mike Pence is a good Christian man who will implement sound policy, and as a life time Republican, I have no problem with Pence stepping up…..but being called “dumb”…..sorry my Alabama roots got none of that to forgive an immoral democrat New York Yankee agnostic telling me how dumb I am and how smart he is………

  25. bartender on November 4th, 2018 6:02 am

a wonderful speech he did.the only thing i didnt like is he stands for rick scott.the man that has made millions off of heathcare and tax payers money.even the guy that runs against him is a crook to.nobody really to pick from i guess.where do you find honest people anymore.and thank god he standing his ground on non americans invading our country.
