Trailer Used By Cantonment Church For Food Bank Is Stolen

November 27, 2018

A trailer used by a local church to transport items for their food bank has been stolen.

The trailer was stolen from the Harvest Christian Center at 1095 Muscogee Road. It has the words “Journey by Pace” and “Made in America” on it with Florida tag 427RGC. The picture is similar to the one stolen, but the one belonging to the church was much older and only has doors on the rear.

Harvest Christian Center’s food bank has distributed nearly 50,000 pounds of food this year to help feed the community. The church is in need of a trailer by December 9 to pick up food for another distribution.

Anyone with information on the stolen trailer should call the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office at (850) 436-9620 or Crime Stoppers at (850) 433-STOP.

Hope they find the individuals involved, the cargo trailer from my church was stolen some years back, never has been found. But God knows who the thieves are and I’m sure He has taken care of them.

Some 10 years ago, thieves stole a cargo trailer out of my parent’s front yard. It was loaded with stuff from their cabin in the midwest. They hadn’t unloaded it because my dad was dying of cancer. I’m sure her antique sewing machine, wedding album, and other irreplaceable items ended up in a landfill. It makes me sick to know these thieves are still thriving.

It takes a pretty low person or persons to steal someone’s stuff especially a church .
Maybe they can find it but i doubt they will. This just ridiculous

That is a heartless person to steal from a church that is helping the people in need!

I knew a missionary to Africa years ago that witnessed a man getting his hands chopped off for stealing a window air conditioner. My understanding theft was very low in that country.
