Pastor Alan Thompson, 44, passed away on Thursday, November 8, 2018 at his home in Cantonment, Florida.

Mr. Thompson was a native of Tampa, Florida and had resided in Cantonment, FL for the past 8 years. He was a loving husband, father, son and an avid Gator Fan. Early on Minister of Youth and Music, sang with the Dixie Echos and was a Youth Evangelist.

He is survived by his parents, Bro Tom and Kathy Thompson of Pensacola, FL; wife of 24 years, Angela Thompson of Cantonment, FL; one son, Thomas Cameron Thompson of Cantonment, FL; one daughter, Ashleigh Michelle Thompson of Cantonment, FL; two brothers, William Edward Thompson of Orlando, FL and William O. Thompson of Pensacola, FL and two sisters, Hope Elisabeth Thompson of Tampa, FL and Ruth Alice Thompson Greene of Pensacola, FL.

Funeral services will be held Sunday, November 11, 2018 at 3:00 PM at the Enon Baptist Church with Bro. Tom Thompson and Bro. Bill Owen officiating.

Burial will follow at the Enon Baptist Cemetery.

Visitation will be held Sunday, November 11, 2018 from 1:30 PM until service time at 3:00 PM at the Enon Baptist Church.

Pallbearers will be William Edward Thompson, William O. Thompson, Lt. Derek Phristal Greene, William Owen II, Hope Elisabeth Thompson, and Ruth Alice Thompson Greene.

Honorary Pallbearers will be Area Pastors.

In lieu of flowers contributions can be made to Gulf winds Federal Credit Union, Alan Thompson Fund.
