Jim Allen Students Collect $1,200 For Hurricane Victims

On Wednesday, Jim Allen Elementary students wore their costumes for a cause. They collected cash and coin donations for students who were affected by Hurricane Michael in Panama City and the rest of Bay County. Jim Allen collected approximately $1,200. I’m so proud of these young people that care enough to help. 1200 dollars is a lot of money to raise so I’m sure they gave it their all. We took a pickup truck and trailer load of supplies down there a couple of weeks ago-I wish it was an 18 wheeler load-those people can use all of the help they can get. Please help if you can-they are absolutely devastated down there. Remember Ivan and the shape we were in? They are in worse shape than we were. Thank you to all that help.
