Flash Flood Watch Issued

A flash flood watch has been issued through Saturday afternoon. The National Weather Service says 2-3 inches of rain are possible over a short period of time, with up to 4-6 inches in isolated areas.

Tonight: Showers likely, then showers and possibly a thunderstorm after 10pm. Some of the storms could produce gusty winds and heavy rain. Low around 65. Southeast wind 10 to 15 mph, with gusts as high as 20 mph. Chance of precipitation is 100%. New rainfall amounts between 1 and 2 inches possible.

Saturday: Showers and possibly a thunderstorm before noon, then a chance of showers and thunderstorms after noon. Some storms could be severe, with heavy rain. High near 74. South wind 10 to 15 mph. Chance of precipitation is 90%. New rainfall amounts between a half and three quarters of an inch possible.

Saturday Night: A 20 percent chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 62. South wind 5 to 10 mph.

Sunday: A 40 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly sunny, with a high near 75. Southwest wind around 5 mph.

Sunday Night: Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 60. South wind around 5 mph becoming calm in the evening. Chance of precipitation is 60%.

Monday: A 50 percent chance of showers and thunderstorms. Partly sunny, with a high near 72. Calm wind becoming west around 5 mph in the morning.

Monday Night: Partly cloudy, with a low around 46. North wind 5 to 10 mph.

Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 59. North wind 5 to 10 mph.
