Copeland Ebenezer Crisson, Sr.

Copeland Ebenezer Crisson, Sr “Criss”, 89, born February 20, 1929, to William Henry Crisson, Sr and Mary Lillian Astwood Crisson, passed away peacefully at home November 8, 2018, after a brief illness. Criss was a retired pipe fitter and more recently car shuttler at Pensacola International Airport for Avis-Budget Rental Car. He was a devout Christian and long-term member of Myrtle Grove Baptist Church and Choir, Golden Echos and 4 His Glory.

He is preceded in death by his beloved wife Jannie, and infant son, Henry Winford.

He is survived by his brother, Edwin (Anita) Crisson; children, Susan (Stuart) Diamond, Flora Lea (Gerald) Cofield, Copeland Ebenezer (Pamela) Crisson, Jr, Sharon (Felipe) Crisson-Gandarilla, Mary Crisson and David (Jennifer) Crisson; grandchildren, Deedra Lea (Wesley) Richerson, Duane Diamond, April (Brandon) Reeves, Dustin (Frances) Diamond, Drew (Hannah) Diamond, Copeland Ebenezer (Amy) Crisson, III, Oliver (Megan) Crisson, Dillon W Diamond, Lindsey Wills-Vertz, Lauryn (Brianna) Crisson, Jesse Drain, Evan Crisson, Kori Vertz, Itzel Gandarilla, Ty Vertz and Leah Gandarilla; and great-grandchildren, Abby Richerson, Adan Diamond, Landon Reeves, Dillon Diamond, Eli Diamond, Zeke Crisson, Jude Crisson and Mackenzie Crisson.

The family would like to extend heartfelt thanks to the caring and loving staff of Emerald Coast Hospice, Baptist Health Care and a special thanks to close friends Eric and Doris Fryer, and cherished church family.

Services were held Sunday, November 11, 2018, at Myrtle Grove Baptist Church.

Arrangements have been entrusted to Bayview Fisher-Pou Funeral Home.
