Century Honors Veterans (With Photo Gallery)

The Town of Century held their annual Veterans Day Program Thursday afternoon.
The program featured a flag presentation by the Northview High School NJROTC Color Guard and patriotic music from the Byrneville Elementary School Choir including the National Anthem and God Bless
the USA.
The guest speaker was retired Navy Seal Chuck Thornton.

one day a year we take time to honor veterans especially the guys that gave their lives in defense of our country. freedom by the majority of our people is taken for granted. they have no concept of what it takes to keep all the rights and privileges we enjoy. there is someones kid, or relative in harms way right now. everyday somewhere in the world. they do it for us. if you see one of OUR service men or women thank them.
