Concerned Citizen: I have completely the opposite experiences with most motorcyclists. I do look for them, but most of the ones I see are driving 100 MPH or more and are darting in and out of traffic, so cars and trucks don’t have TIME to see them. Motorcyclists have caused a lot of near accidents with their speed and recklessness. I respect their rights to ride motorcycles, but I like my chances in a metal-covered vehicle more than theirs, regardless of who is at fault.

When I first read the caption under the first picture, my first thought was that the cyclist ran into a boat with a “Mercury Mariner” outboard engine LOL.

I guess neither the Mercury Mariner outboard or the Mercury Mariner SUV were very successful. Glad everyone is okay.

You couldn’t pay me to ride a motorcycle on hwy 29, especially south of hwy97. No one looks out for motorcycles, I’ve soon numerous wrecks on hwy29 involving motorcyclist and 95% of the time it isn’t their fault. Big rigs come right over on them all the time and they have to swerve for the median to get away.

Glad to see the injuries aren’t life threatening. I saw them in the street as well. Scary.

I saw this accident right after it happened. My sister and I were crying when we saw the man laying in the street. We thought he was dead. So glad to find out they will be fine. Praying for a fast recovery.
