ristianna will be greatly missed by her loving mother, Nora Danielle King (stepdad James “Jimmy” Goossen) of Jay; her father, Stanley Ray Boutwell, Jr. of Flomaton; her 15 year old brother, Stanley Ray Boutwell, III; her 10 year old sister Adrianna Marie Boutwell, her 2 year old sister, Mercedes Grace Boutwell, all of Jay; maternal grandmother, Susan Darline Hawkins of Jay (affectionately known as “Drammy” to Kristianna); maternal grandfather, Donald Earl King (wife Leslie) of Atmore; paternal grandparents, Stanley Ray Boutwell, Sr. and Barbara Ann Boutwell, of Flomaton; Aunt Tammy Pearson of Uriah, Alabama; Aunt Carolyn Boutwell Scott (husband Gary) of Jay; Aunt Stephanie Boutwell of Flomaton; Uncle Jeremiah Phillips of Jay; 1st cousins, Samantha Pearson of Uriah, Al; Brianna Pearson of Uriah, Al; Austin Boutwell, Matthew Boutwell, Dillan Scott, all of Jay and a host of other cousins and relatives.

Kristianna had been so excited about her upcoming birthday and about the upcoming Halloween holiday. For Halloween, she had planned to be a Mermaid. Kristianna had attended Kindergarten at Jay School and was in Mrs. Ashton Ashworth’s 1st Grade Class this year. She loved going to school, loved her teacher, and loved her school mates. She loved going to church at Barrydale Baptist Church. Kristianna loved to swim and remarkably at the young age of 3, while swimming with her mother at the grandparent’s home, she announced that she wanted to “swim by herself”. To everyone’s astonishment, Kristianna swam across the pool on top of the water and then across the pool under the water!

At about age 3, her brother, Stanley gave her a blue “blankie”; Kristianna instantly fell in love with it, even later as it became “worn from much love” she would not trade it in for a new “girlie” pink one. Her mother lovingly stated, “Bless her heart, she still liked to suck her thumb while snuggling with her blue “blankie”. She loved to cuddle with her mother and they had names for each other, “Cuddle Buddies”. Kristianna loved making home videos with her older sister, Adrianna and acting like they were on YouTube.

Kristianna loved animals; one year she asked for a cat for her birthday, not just any cat, but one that she requested be a “white with blue eyes”. She got her white cat with blue eyes and it quickly became her favorite pet. She named her cat “Foxy Girl”. Kristianna may have only had 6 brief years with her family and friends, but she made a momentous impact on everyone who knew her. Kristianna was truly an angel on earth and the family knows she is with her Heavenly Father today celebrating her 7th birthday and wearing the most angelic “Mermaid” outfit imaginable.

The family asked that anyone who would like to share a special memory of Kristianna, a comforting Bible scripture or other words of comfort for them to draw strength from in the days and years ahead, that each message of comfort and encouragement be given to the Jay Chapel-Keahey Funeral Home staff during the visitation times and a special memory book will be composed by the funeral home staff for the family to cherish.
