FDC Announces $1,000 Hiring Bonuses At Century, Santa Rosa Prisons

The Florida Department of Corrections has announced $1,000 hiring bonuses at the Century Correctional Institution and Santa Rosa Correctional Institution in Milton.
Applicants who complete their correctional officer certification through either FDC or certain state colleges will be eligible for the bonus. Paid training is available.

@ really ,I admire your comment, 1000.00 dollars is a joke and then ones they have neglected for years with only 1 pay raise are moving on. Long story short is the state of Florida officers are leaving for better jobs, your experience is leaving your underpaid funding and you got kids born in the 90s acting like they run the prison lol. What a joke, pay your experienced officers and sergeants the price there worth or take your worthless law making selves down the road because we don’t need you.
All for paying the reliable and unbreakable old school class
$1,000 sign on bonus to get people to apply what is the state going to do to keep officers from leaving.
