I was one of the people in this wreck and reading the comments about drug and alcohol and wrecks of just like to say that none of us were under the influence of anything and it all happened so fast so we couldn’t stop it.
It is troubling to see so many accidents around here lately. But certainly, no surprise. Twice in the last week, someone has passed me on Williams Ditch Road in-between the two speed bumps as well as in the No-Passing Double Yellow Line in front of Jim Allen Elementary! Geez guys…if you’re in that big of a hurry, get up 10 or 15 minutes earlier!! It’s crazy to risk innocent lives for your own stupidity. BTW, the guy who just had to pass me at Jim Allen cut through Gee Willies to get over to Hwy 29, thinking he’d beat the traffic light. Guess what? He didn’t! He actually got caught up in a much longer line than if he would have just driven like a sane person. It pays to slow down people!!
What Mary said is true
Judging from the wrecks shown on this site in just the last three days Cantonment drivers need to slow down, drive sober, and put down the #&%% cell phone when behind the wheel. Or maybe we just need more State Troopers/Sheriff Deputies up here.
