@Sam, Cantonment is a city? Where is city hall? Where does the city council meet? Where is the Police Department? How many policemen are there? Fire department? Public works? Only Pensacola and Century in Escambia County are incorporated. Interesting info. https://florida.hometownlocator.com/counties/cities,cfips,033,c,escambia.cfm
No police presence can stop these boyfriends, baby daddies, family altercations. Seems to me six people could have stopped him from creating havoc. But he seems happy at the outcome – go figure.
Hey Sam, maybe because Cantonment is the highest populated city in “North Escambia” proper. Maybe because Cantonment has a MAJOR highway (Hwy 29) running right through the middle of it. Or maybe because we have a whopping two ECSO officers responsible for keeping the peace in our area at any given time. Or maybe because you are reading a blog that caters to towns in North Escambia, once again with Cantonment being the most populated city in North Escambia.
I don’t see what’s so funny about all that. Sounds kinda serious to me.
Do you know who is going to pay for the arresting deputies salary, the cost of the incarceration of the arrestee, the EMS and then the hospital bills? If you guessed “we the people”, you are correct. This will cost us thousands of dollars before it is over.
What is it with cantonment? Always someone getting arrested, beaten up, wrecks, stuff stolen, etc. think i would move.
