Tate And Northview FFA Chapters Named Among The Best In The Nation
August 13, 2018
Both the Northview High and Tate High FFA chapters have been named two of the very best in the nation as Three-Star Chapters by the National FFA Organization.
The National Chapter Award Program is designed to recognize FFA chapters that actively implement the mission and strategies of the organization. These chapters improve chapter operations using the National Quality Chapter Standards and a Program of Activities that emphasize growing leaders, building communities and strengthening agriculture. Chapters are rewarded for providing educational experiences for the entire membership.

As a Pine Forest alumni, class of 1980, I’m still impressed with FFA! Congrats to the Florida Panhandle schools for the achievement!
This is wonderful!! Way to go Northview and Tate! Two awesome chapters with amazing AG teachers (past and present)!
I think we should give this credit to the current teachers. When Mr. Kelley and Mr. Meherg was the teachers they averaged 200 students a year and the current teaches educate over 700 each day.
Mr. Courson, Ms. Gibbs, Mr. Byars, Ms. Godwin, and Ms Lawall work long hours to build the success that was achieved not the past.
Please don’t forget the shoulder whom this great organization started with. Both Mr. John Kelly and Kenny Maherg. My daughter was in the Tate FFA and loved both Teacher and class.
GREAT JOB!!!!!!!!
