One Injured, Utility Pole Snapped In Highway 29 Wreck

A utility pole was snapped in a single vehicle wreck that injured one person Thursday morning on Highway 29 at West Roberts Road Tuesday morning.

The injured person was transported by Escambia County EMS to an area hospital.

Gulf Power report eight customers in the immediate area without power after the crash.

The accident is under investigation by the Florida Highway Patrol.

    Woww! Really messed up an SUV that looks brand new! Sadly added insult to injury. Wishing for a speedy recovery for driver!

    That intersection is a wreck looking for an accident! Two things are needed to make it safer.
    1- No right on red.
    2- The left turn just south of the light needs to be closed.

    Hoping the port-a-potty was empty @ the time. Gonna
    have to put-em 1/4 mile away from any roadways so when
    close door can feel somewhat safe !
