Daniel Jefferson Perkins

Daniel Jefferson Perkins of Cantonment passed away on August 6, 2018, at his home off Becks Lake Road. Daniel loved his family and was happiest when he was spending time with them in the outdoors. He was an avid fisherman, hunter, boater, and a novice chef who loved spicy food. He also enjoyed spending time at the gym and listening to contemporary Christian music. From the time he was a child Daniel loved dogs and frequently had at least one.

Daniel is survived by his son Brandon Nathaniel Perkins; stepdaughter Kiera Kimbler; father Jefferson Perkins; mother Bobbie Jo Rowe; sisters Janice Gilley (Ron) and Cynthia Perkins; as well as a niece, two nephews, numerous cousins, extended family, and beloved friends.

Visitation will be Thursday, August 9, at 4 p.m.  with memorial service at 5 p.m., both at First Baptist Church Cantonment, 118 Morris Avenue, Cantonment.

    Words cannot express my grief, there will be no answers to my questions. There is no rewind button I can push. I can only hope that I will be blessed enough to see you again when my earthly life has come to an end. Until then you will forever remain in my heart and thoughts. I love you Daniel Jefferson Perkins.

    I knew him. He was a sweetheart, very funny, and loving person. He will forever be in my families hearts.
