Sad Update: Service Dog Involved In Molino Wreck Has Passed Away
July 23, 2018
A sad update to a story we first brought you last week…
A service dog injured in a single vehicle accident near Molino has passed away.
Last Wednesday night, a woman ran off the road at South Highway 99 and Highway 196, with her vehicle coming to rest in the woods. She was transported to an area hospital by Escambia County EMS. Family members say she has been released from the hospital and is improving.
Mollie, her medical service dog, remained at the scene with Molino Fire Rescue Volunteers watching over her until she was picked up by family. Mollie was paralyzed from the hips down, and this weekend she passed away from her injuries.

Kinda difficult to ( seatbelt ) these guys….love-em like children
but restraining system in vehicles not designed for them.
Will Rogers was asked about dogs going to heaven? He responded…If they don’t go, neither do I! This is one of God’s creatures that looks after man and there is a place for her in heaven!
Poor baby. RIP sweet pup
So very sorry to hear of this precious dog’s passing. May God comfort and Bless her family.
