Overnight Drive-by Shooting In Molino Under Investigation

The Escambia County Sheriff’s Office is searching for a suspect after a drive-by shooting early Tuesday morning in Molino.

At 1:23 a.m., a resident of Cedartown Road near Allen Circle reported that someone in an unknown type vehicle opened fire at a residential trailer and an unoccupied vehicle, according to Amber Southard, spokesperson for the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office.

She said responding deputies did locate shell casings in the roadway.

There were no injuries reported.

Anyone with information is asked to call the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office at (850) 436-9620, Gulf Coast Crime Stoppers at (850) 433-STOP.

    I don”t know, but I do find it strange that someone rides by and shoots up a home for no reason. this has a fishy smell. Lol

    This isn’t like any of the local Molino residents. Sounds more like Atmore, for sure.

    Seems like the county has become so bad that you are better off living in the Pensacola city limits where you are protected by a police department.

    Lord…Molino is getting as bad as Pensacola. So much for living out in the quiet, safe cities anymore. Of course I’m not surprised that it happened in that area, unfortunately its been overtaken by drug dealers and riff raff in the past few years. You’re not safe anywhere anymore.
