Between Morris Avenue and Cooley road, the traffic blast up and down highway 29, into and out of Cantonment. There is a blind hill at Well Line and also at Cooley Road, it is clear and then when you pull onto 29, a vehicle comes speeding over the blind hill at 70 or 80 miles per hour, BAM!

This problem has been addressed with our local official as well as Law Enforcement.
I hope that after the next election, that we are able to redress both problems.

To Connie. The answer to your question/thought is no my mother as you say “the person in the car” was not on a cell phone. She actually has a flip phone still and is not a big phone person and does not use a phone while driving. Now as far as the truth that was told by the man driving the dodge that hit my mom to the state trooper is that he in fact was on his phone and did not see my mom stopped at the red light. No idea how fast he was as going being as he didnt see light had in fact changed to red and she was stopped at red light but thank God he was surrounding my mother along with her guardian angels.

What you are seeing appears to be the “back” of an RV stopped at the stop light. It doesn’t appear that the pickup was pulling an RV.

I passed this accident on way home yesterday. Thought for sure someone was injured; glad I was wrong.

    Too much Ram…not enough Dodge

Too many speed limit changes and a lot of drivers never change their speed! Hope the driver of the car wasn’t using cell phone and just got over in other lane where the truck was approaching. Don’t know what happened, but bad accident anyway. Glad everyone survived!

How can people even say anything about how fast they were driving.. This could have happened going 40mph.. So glad that everyone is safe. That’s the proper response instead of trying to find fault in every situation. If you weren’t there then you don’t really know what happened…

    >>Driving that fast with a camper attached? They’re lucky they didn’t kill the Buick’s driver.

    The camper is not attached.

Ive always thought theres no excuse to hit someone from behind with that force. Maybe bumping them yes I get it. But if your running 35 45 or more mph you have no reason to not be paying attention to whats in front of you. I feel there should be a law. When you hit someone with that kinda force from the rear theres no excuse your license should be suspended for 2 years no questions asked

Amazing no one was really injured. This is a dangerous intersection since so many run that light especially 18 wheelers flying down Hwy 29.

I haven’t seen a beer can crushed like that Buick…
Amazing where the plate ended. Glad people will be able to laugh about it later with no pain

Well, I guess I’ll cross Buick Regal off the list of cars I’ll ever own. Haha. Glad there were no major injuries. That’s a mean looking wreck. My back and neck hurts just looking at it.
