Man Shot By Relative In Cantonment

A man was shot by a relative in Cantonment Saturday morning.

The man was shot by his nephew in the leg in the backyard of a home in the 1400 block of Muscogee Road near Jacks Branch Road, according to the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office.

Deputies were unable to locate the nephew after a search. It is expected that a warrant may be issued for his arrest at a later date.

The man was transported by Escambia County EMS to an area hospital with injuries that were not considered life-threatening.

    While true, “When is the killing going to stop?” Is a question which requires an ongoing activity. If it is going on, previous and current killing is included as well as the thought it will continue unless it stops.

    While it is true that this shooting seems to have failed to kill, every time you shoot someone, the possibility of killing is included.

    Sure, I would have worded it differently, but people don’t have to do things my way. ( Good thing too, since so few do.)

    Well, Ms. Deet, it doesn’t say anyone was killed. The man suffered non life threatening injuries.
