Patricia and Robert Bowman

After nearly 64 years of marriage, Patricia Ann Bowman, 83, and Robert Travis Bowman, 83, passed away on Tuesday, May 29th and Thursday, May 31st, 2018, respectively. They were surrounded by their loving family when they were ultimately given peace.

Robert was born to the late Margret and Arthur Bowman on July 26th, 1934, and Patricia was born to the late Julia and Anthony Taranto on January 20th, 1935 in Pensacola, Florida.

They were high school sweethearts and married each other on December 28th, 1954. They were united together in a tremendous love for one another that lives on through their beautiful children and grandchildren. Together they were blessed with a large and loving family of whom they were wholeheartedly devoted.

Patricia and Robert were long-time parishioners of the Nativity of Our Lord Catholic Church.
Patricia was an active member and officer in many community organizations including, Sons and Daughters of Italy in America, Maids of Mirth, Les Harlequins, The Red Hat Society, Carnival Sunday, and Tuesday Lady Bridge group.
Robert graduated from the University of Florida with honors in 1961. He then went on to hold several executive roles transacting business in five continents as an industrial engineer. He was involved in many of the same community organizations with his wife and additionally several golf groups.

They will be dearly missed as they were incredibly strong and loving parents, parents-in-law, grandparents, sibling, aunt/uncle and friends. Robert and Patricia were preceded in death by their parents.

Viewing and visitation will be Tuesday, June 5th from 10:30-11:30 with a Rosary being recited at 11:15 at Saint Paul Catholic Church. Mass will be celebrated at 11:30. Burial will follow at Barrancas National Cemetery at 2pm.
