Over 20 years ago I was robbed at gunpoint while working at a little store near the paper plant. I cooperated and even helped the other employee by moving her out of the way so that I could open the cash register for the robber (she was scared to move). However, I have no problem at all if these punks get shot. The LAW is that clerks are not to have more than $35 in the drawer, any more gets dropped in the safe that the clerk can’t access. I guess these criminals are too stupid to know the law that is designed to make it not worth the trouble to rob a store.
Come on people. Those “shorts” ( or bathing suit) with the British flag is a give away. One of ya’ll know who this is. Call crime stoppers. These people that run this store are good, honest, hard working citizens. Do the right thing and turn the thief in.
As tom thumb employees we are trained to stay as calm.as possible && just to give them what they want. So for the person who commented about the drink sipping SHUT IT! Also the rules are we can have a concealed carry bit we have to keep.it in our vehicles.hopefully he is caught cause to so it in broad day light has us all worried. The area has gotten BAD with meth/drug users

Alright Dirty Harry.. How many armed confrontations have you personally been involved in? This is not the movies. Enough chest-beating.
Concealed carry doesn’t give you the right to take the law into your own hands, shoot out in a public place isn’t real smart, let him get the money and leave, let the professional do their job
Its only a matter of time before hes caught. Glad the guy at the counter was chill, he even took a drink right as the other guy was leaving.
Wish I would have walked. If he would’ve pointed the gun at me he would be in the hospital or graveyard
Where are all these concealed carrying vigilantes? Florida has the most concealed permit holders in the nation yet convenience store robberies continue. Not sure I follow your logic there Willy-nilly.

While I agree that anyone who choses to break the law is taking their life into their own hands, I think this TV-romanticized view of citizens with guns preventing most crimes is harmful when it comes to real life scenarios.
Believing that bringing a gun into this situation would have made things better counters recent tragedies in this area where this actually happened in real life. Law enforcement teaches you to do exactly what this clerk did, and he lived to see another day.
Hopefully, the criminal will be quickly caught and face the penalty for his actions.
Those pants are very distinctive – seems like a teenager would wear them – ask around at TATE high and someone may know.
I have a ccdw and a 40 I carry with me just about everywhere and I’ve been in that store a lot and if I had walked in and he pointed that gun at me I would have backed up like the guy did but to only get my gun out and well he wouldn’t have had a good day….!!!
Great case in point for a concealed carry permit. I can promise you that had he pointed a weapon at a few well-defended individuals he would NOT have gotten across the street in one piece.
When oh when will the cashier work behind bulletproof glass? They had it back in 1985 at every convenience store I went to, but not in FL..
