As a retired. 28 year Marine Corp Sgt. Maj. Pearl Harbor survivor. Iwo Jima combat Veteran. Paul Hamlin will get my vote for Judge.
We had reason to be in court one day when Hon. Joyce H Williams was presiding. Although she was strict, she struck me as a TV judge with the drama, antics and comments. Unfortunately, some people needed a little further explanations on their instruction(s) and there was little or no patience to provide that. I hope that was just a bad day for her but if anyone gets her to hear their case – be aware that she is not going to put up with much and you’d better be listening the first time around.
There are many veterans in this area including myself and the guy holding his sign on the corner. But that doesn’t make us the best choice for public service. If the guy on Davis Highway wore all of his ribbons maybe he could be a Five Star Sheriff , School Board member etc. Vote for Anything Will Help Guy 2020.
When it comes to judges on the ballot the only information the voters get is names. Qualifications such as what type of experience they have or practicing background..If a sitting judge is doing a good job what makes the other candidates better..If we aren’t a part of the courthouse scene then we don’t know you.
I am humbled to be endorsed by both the Honorable Bill Eddins, State Attorney, First Judicial Circuit and the Honorable Bruce Miller, Public Defender, First Judicial Circuit.
I would appreciate your vote on August 28, 2018!
Vote Marine Corps veteran Paul Hamlin for Judge!!!
