For William2- Although I do agree that we have way too many sue happy people in the world, putting all lawyers under one heading is wrong.

William, I agree with most of your post while speaking of people in general. I would be willing to bet that in this case, there will no payday. Only grief and bills, bills and bills for the young teen’s family. Sad, sad situation for the victim and his family.

Angi to answer your question lawyers are a big reason for such behavior these days. I hope this young person is OK and so thankful this person turned themselves in. Lawyers are part of the blame because we no longer have any accidents, now any accidents you are liable. We have become a sue happy society so whether this lady stopped or not she’s going to be sued personally and her insurance. She obviously made her situation worse but and deserves what she gets. If a person trips and falls in a grocery store it’s a big payday now a days. Lawyers have created this type of behavior.

What the hell is wrong with people today? They are so cold hearted and inconsiderate. You have to run and hide, and can’t even stop to try to help the poor person (child) that you hit with your vehicle?! I pray that this child is ok, and that this eats at your conscience. Please do the right thing!
