Tate’s Kayley Groff Signs Tennis Scholarship With Coastal Alabama

Tate High School tennis player Kayley Groff signed full ride tennis scholarship with Coastal Alabama Community College.
Groff currently plays the number three position for the Tate Aggies with a 9-1 record so far this year.
“She has been a catalyst on the varsity squad for the last three years,” Tate head tennis coach David Bonucchi said.
Groff has also been a member of the Showband of the South for four years participating in Marching Band, Jazz Band, and Concert Band. She is also an exceptional academic student and a member of the Beta Club.

Many thanks from our family to Coach David Bonucchi who was the one that taught Kayley the game of tennis from 9th grade to now. She loves the game and has enjoyed playing for Tate High School. She is very excited about the great opportunity she has now to play for Coastal Alabama in the fall. We know that she would not have been as motivated and determined without your excellent coaching skills and encouragement. Much gratitude to you for training her, pushing her to do better and for also recognizing the wonderful person and hard worker that she is in everything she does. Thank you for telling her often and for encouraging her to further her career in tennis. Many thanks to Coach Ritchie Dulaney from Coastal Alabama for recognizing Kayley’s hard work and determination and offering her a scholarship. We know she will do her best everyday that she is there and we are very confident you are the best coach for her in college, we have much respect for you already. Thank you for signing her !
