Photo Gallery: Brandon Penegar Memorial Car Show
April 2, 2018
The annual Brandon Penegar Memorial Car Show was held this weekend at the Gonzalez United Methodist Church.
The show was held in honor of Branden Penegar.
He was known as the “Gentle Giant” and was a 2011 graduate of Tate High School, an assistant coach for the freshman Tate Aggies’ football program and varsity tennis team, and a member of the Tate High School Student Hall of Fame. He passed away in March 2013 at the age of 20. Penegar was an active member of the Gonzalez United Methodist Church and youth program.
Proceeds from the car show benefit the youth programs at the church.

Oh YEAH, when automobiles and trucks had their own very distinctive looks.
Each one a work of art and metal sculpture and engineering pride.
Now they look like a spilled box of Tic-Tacs.
Lots of hard work, devotion and love to care for these Majestic Automobiles.
Thank You for (almost) all the photos.
We attended the show, and it was a really nice event on a beautiful day. They really had a little something for everyone there – preserved, restored, modded. The hamburgers were good too! One guy had a 1948 Jeepster, all original (including the flathead 4 cylinder engine!).
