FDOT: Highway 29 Lane Closures 9 1/2 Mile To Muscogee

The Florida Department of Transportation says drivers will encounter alternating lane closures on Highway 29 north and southbound, from Muscogee Road to West 9 1⁄2 Mile Road, from 8 p.m. to 6 through Thursday as crews pave the roadway.

I wonder when (and IF?) they are ever going to get around to paving 29 south
from Molino to Cantonment? I also wonder whether the state is going to demand
a warranty payment from the paving company who did the worst possible job
of paving 29 a few years ago? Yeah, I know – not likely. Why does the state
put up with such shoddy work after paying out multiple millions of $ on a road
which is all torn up after just a few years?
