Escambia County Sheriff’s Mounted Posse Horse Passes Away

Some sad news to report today..one of the horses that was part of the Escambia County Sheriff’s Office Mounted Posse has died. Karen Powell’s horse Tag passed away Friday morning.     Thank you everyone for all the thoughts and prayers during this terrible time for me, Tag was a very special horse he was my friend and partner, We went from Barrel Racing to the ECSO Mounted Unit, we have put a lot of hours on the road and doing details, Tag loved his job as a posse horse. He loved to sight see. My heart is so broken.
