My husband and I got married there 20 yrs. ago when it was Mom’s Buffet. There was a nice room in the front with a fireplace.
Back when it was Henrys’ Costa Mex and the kids were little, my family went there often. Good restaurants come and go. I can think of several “favorite” restaurants that have closed over the past 10 years.
Great memories as a young man, I used to buy the meal ticket and eat there every night when it was Moms, then a cold beverage at Sandy’s, Great times with the guys from station 6,miss all of my brothers.
Two great restaurants in the past. I noticed those buildings have been unoccupied for quite some time. Quaint looking buildings and what a shame to burn down.
When I was a kid I use to eat there when it was moms buffet.
I remember when this was Mom’s Buffet so many years ago.
I lived in the neighborhood next to this! I remember when it was “moms buffet”…
That used to be Mom’s back in the day
The pictures seem to show flames in the back part of the main building and flames in the small house next door. It looks like 2 separate fires in 2 separate buildings.
This used to be “Henrys’ Costa Mex….a great mexican restaurant. So sad things have to turn out the way they do…we always loved going there! Henry and his wife were awesome.
That’s weird I remember when the bar next door burn down several years ago
