Showers, Possible Severe Storms Today

Isolated severe storms are possible in the North Escambia area today with damaging winds and possibly a brief tornado from Sunday afternoon into Sunday evening.

Sunday: Showers and possibly a thunderstorm. Patchy fog before 7am. High near 75. Southwest wind around 5 mph. Chance of precipitation is 80%. New rainfall amounts between a quarter and half of an inch possible.

Sunday Night: Showers likely and possibly a thunderstorm before midnight, then a slight chance of showers. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 47. Southwest wind 5 to 10 mph becoming northwest after midnight. Chance of precipitation is 60%. New precipitation amounts between a tenth and quarter of an inch, except higher amounts possible in thunderstorms.

Monday: Partly sunny, then gradually becoming sunny, with a high near 61. Breezy, with a north wind 10 to 20 mph, with gusts as high as 25 mph.

Monday Night: Clear, with a low around 37. North wind 5 to 15 mph.

Tuesday: Sunny, with a high near 62. North wind around 5 mph.

Tuesday Night: Clear, with a low around 35. North wind around 5 mph.
