Does anybody else find this kind of knee-jerk over reacting a little unnerving? A “rumor” about a “gun” and two schools go into lockdown. Look at the number of law enforcement officers involved in this event. Have we lost all our common sense and good judgment? How many guns were found? Let me guess. NONE? So now an otherwise normal 15 year old boy doing what 15 year old boys do, will forever be mingled with the justice system to pay back the costs of all this overreacting.

I feel that any study who playfully makes a threat, or spreads a rumor of this nature, should be expelled from school. He/she is carelessly placing everyone’s safety into question.
