Two Injuries In Two Highway 29 Crashes, One Wreck Involves An Ambulance
February 3, 2018
Two people were transported to the hospital and about a half dozen others were uninjured in two wrecks Friday night on Highway 29 at 10 Mile Road.
The two injured were in the first crash at the intersection and were transported to area hospitals for treatment.
The second crash was minor and involved a van and an Escambia County EMS unit responding to the first accident. There were no injuries in the second crash.

We don’t need round-abouts in Pensacola! I’ve been to several places that use roundabouts and they are dangerous. If you think people don’t pay attention to red lights, just wait! They’ll kill each other in roundabouts!!
Its called yield the right of way…..that’s all you have to do
The light at this intersection is confusing with all westbound traffic on 10 Mile going first crossing and turning left on Hwy 29 and then eastbound traffic gets green light while westbound is still green. Drivers going westbound don’t realize eastbound has green light and make turns immediately in front of oncoming traffic. We were hoping this would be corrected when new lights went up but so far – no change. Very dangerous!
Let’s put up another traffic light! I believe it’s the drivers and the lights don’t do a bit of good.
Maybe roundabouts instead of Red Lights.
I seen this first hand i was right behind them. I just hope Mrs. Joann is ok. I didnt get her last name but she begged me not to leave her. I stayed there until they put her in the ambulance. If any of her family is on here please let me know how she is. I spent most of the night praying for her. You can find me on facebook Brandy N Justin Pace thanks in advance
