Navy Federal Named One Of Fortune’s Best Companies To Work For

Navy Federal Credit Union has been listed at number 42 on Fortune magazine’s list of the “100 Best Companies To Work For” in 2018. This was highest ranking achieved by the world’s largest credit union in their eight years on the list.
“We work continually to make sure that Navy Federal is an outstanding place to build a career,” said Cutler Dawson, president/CEO of Navy Federal. “Our mission is about excellent service to our members and that mission starts with our employees. I believe that our success is all about putting employees first.”
In recognizing Navy Federal, Fortune noted that 96 percent of employees say they were made to feel welcome when they joined the team, and 95 percent are proud to tell others where they work.
“Being part of team you believe in is a critical part of a great place to work. That’s why we continue to invest in an environment where people can learn, prosper and grow,” Dawson added.

I have worked in financial services (commercial banking) for over 25 years. Currently, I am proudly employed at Navy Federal, and it is the BEST job/career I have ever had.
Ok great for employees now it’s the members turn – relocate the Davis Hwy/Langley branch – jam packed, a pain in the keister to get in and out of, long lines both outside and in — Every member/ driver knows this they have got the money – MOVE IT!!! and as an aside 9mile road , the new Davis hwy – traffic nightmare..
I have been a member of NFCU for over 40 years and am so very glad. They really look out for their members, and their employees are so pleasant and helpful. They are the best.
I joined NFCU in November of 2017. The first thing I noticed is how everyone Sows into the Success of Each Other. The Dog eat Dog Political Non Sense that exist witthin many other Company’s is Non Existant at NFCU. I highly recommend this Company to everyone. For the first time in my 30 year work history I feel like I now have a Career.

This is 100% true. I joined the Navy Federal family of employees in April 2016 as a contract worker. It didn’t matter that I was contract because I still felt included. I was welcomed to each new team. Each team celebrates life events and successes and when one person is struggling the others reach out and encourage or help in whatever way they can.
