Eddie Pipkins Ellis

Eddie Pipkins Ellis, 68 of Flomaton, AL, passed away Saturday February 24, 2018,  in Atmore, AL. He was a heavy equipment diesel mechanic, born on September 13, 1949, in Repton, AL, to the late Ace and Jessie Weaver Ellis.

He is preceded in death by his parents, siblings, Harry Ellis, Dudley Ellis, Mary Elizabeth Roddam, Alice E. Salter, and Dorothy P. Forte.

Survivors are his wife, Nancy Capers Ellis of Flomaton, AL; two sons,  Ace (Amy) Ellis of Jones, AL, and Joshua Ellis of Flomaton, AL; two daughters, Kristy (Kristopher) Marshall of Oak Grove, FL, Carrie Ellis of Atmore, AL; seven  grandchildren, Justice, Jadlyn, Alexis, Aidan, Kaylee, Aceton and Acelyn; and one brother, Carl Starrett of Texaas

Services will be Wednesday February 28, 2018, at 11 a.m. from Johnson-Quimby  Funeral Home Chapel with Bro.Mike Hutto and Bro. Johnathon McCullough officiating.

Interment will follow in Dry Springs Cemetery.

Active pallbearers are, Justin Agerton, Tommy Pettie, Kris Marshall, Jody Capers, Robert Agerton, John Hunter and  Adian Ellis.

Family will receive friend, Wednesday, February 28, 2018, at Johnson-Quimby Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. until service time at 11 a.m.
