Beef Cattle and Forage Boot Camp Held In Molino

The UF/IFAS Beef Cattle and Forage Boot Camp was held Saturday at the Escambia County 4-H facility in Molino.
Attendees were able to learn about cattle handling, management, nutrition and forages.

Great Event…. Barrineau Park 4-H Youth came out and supported the event and were shown how to give correct vaccinations, see what forages grows best and ultrasound a heifer and see the baby “dot”. Great Learn by Doing experience first hand. Thank you UF/IFAS Escambia County Extension for putting on this event.
This was a great program and what extension is all about. It’s great to see the new leadership with extension putting on these type programs and supporting there staff. Great Job!!!
