Ingrid R. Severson

Ingrid R. Severson, of Pensacola, passed away Thursday, January 18, 2018 at the age of 79. She was born June 3, 1938 in Konigsberg East Prussia, the daughter of Grete and Heinrich Bendig. Ingrid enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren. She was a member of Lutheran Church of the Resurrection.

Ingrid will be greatly missed by her husband Duane; children, Elke Rother Kirkwood, Lars (Kathy) Severson, and Kirsten (Todd) Thayer; sister, Monica (Peter) Lier; grandchildren, Jeffrey Kirkwood, Katie Severson, Taylor Severson, Julie Thayer, Nathan Thayer and Max Thayer.

Visitation will be Friday January 26, 2018 at 11:30 a.m. with the funeral service starting at 12:30 p.m. at Lutheran Church of the Resurrection. Ingrid will be buried at Barrancas National Cemetery, Naval Air Station Pensacola. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to American Cancer Society, www.cancer.org or Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation, www.jdrf.org .
