An Escambia County man was arrested Friday for a Tuesday murder in the Myrtle Grove area of Escambia County.
Lyntonio De’Shawn Quinn, 22, was charged with homicide-murder while engaged in certain felony offense, home invasion robbery and home invasion with a firearm.
Deputies responded to a call of a shooting victim around 4:15 p.m. on Tuesday on 48th Avenue near Elsa Avenue.
When deputies arrived they found 27-year-old David Washington dead on the side of the road. Washington and three other people are believed to have committed what appeared to be a drug-related home invasion, deputies said.
During the home invasion, the sheriff’s office said Washington was shot and killed.

From what I gather in the second paragraph the group was engaged in a home invasion, if I’m not mistaken, in many states, any of the party of home invasion suspects can be charged with murder if one of their accomplices should be killed during the commision of the said felony, no matter if the death is the result of retaliation by the victim(s) or an at the hands of the other party members, because the act of the armed invasion created the situation responsible for the death. Quinn is probably bearing the brunt of the homicide charges if he was identified as having been the main impetus for the shooting by being armed himself or leading the invasion in some capacity. The story also says the invasion may have been drug related so that also could be a contributing factor, dealing or doing certain drugs can cause alot of disagreeable actions between two parties in a short period of time.
>>So he shot one of his accomplices? This is vaguely reported.
This is all the info that’s been released, as it was released.
