ECSO: Cantonment Man One Of Seven That Beat Victim At Gas Station

December 6, 2017

A Cantonment man has been arrested for allegedly being part of a group of males that attacked two people outside a Pensacola Boulevard gas station.

Levaski D’Angelo Prim, 28, was charged with aggravated battery using a deadly weapon and batter causing bodily harm.

The victims told deputies that seven males approached the driver’s side of their vehicle and began to beat the driver outside the Kangaroo station at 7950 Pensacola Boulevard. They allegedly used bats and knives. One victim received multiple injuries and was barely conscious as deputies arrived on scene, according to an arrest report.

The entire incident was captured on gas station surveillance video, and deputies reported finding a video of the incident posted on social media.

Prim was released from the Escambia County Jail on a $8,500 bond, according to jail records.

Additional arrests are expected.

    REGARDING:
“Those who live by the sword will die by the sword.”

And yet, not every swordsman dies of a sword wound.
Not every person who fires a gun is killed by a gun.

Some die each way, but then some die of sword wounds who never held a sword, some die of gun wounds who never fired a gun.

David for survival by any means necessary
    (living at peace being preferable)

Pulling out a gun in this situation probably would have left several people (not least of all the victim) dead. Those who live by the sword will die by the sword.

I don’t know how going to a store is putting yourself in a position. But then again I don’t know all of the little details. I’ll stand by my comment that a Glock tops bats and knives any day. ;)

Always amused by those that think “pulling the trigger” is so easy. Paper targets don’t shoot back. It’s easy to assume that you could, but when the paper target is shooting back or has you over-whelmed, it’s not always as easy as one might think. Ask any combat vet or LEO who has faced these situations; it’s nothing like what you see on TV. Best solution is to not put yourself in these type of situations.

Hoodlums, thugs and punks, no respect for life or what is decent should have been no bond, round them all up, take out the garbage, lengthy prison sentences for all.

An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth. How low can you be to fight someone with bats and knives. Not much of a man Prim.

Prim’s first offense and out of jail the same day he was arrested. You won’t be so lucky next time.

Where are the other six hoodlums taking part in this beating ?

I’m all for bringing back public executions for this type of stuff when you are on video and there is 100 percent surety. We have become too soft on criminals and the criminals know this. They know they get a slap on the wrist. Depending on the crime, start public hangings, firing squads, cutting off a hand for theft etc. Tired of these wastes of space who want to take and terrorize those that work hard for what they have. Toughen up America or the criminals will take over and we will be just another third world nation run by gangs.

Bats and knives are no match against a Glock…

This incident is exactly why the Standard-Capacity magazines that come with most semi-automatic pistols contain about 15 rounds. And this is precisely WHY magazine restriction laws are bad business.

It took seven of them with bats and knives because not a single one of them is MAN enough to handle problems on his own. Too bad issues can’t be taken care of without having to take a group with you. Hope the victims recover to handle it person to person down the road.
