Two Injured In Highway 29 Crash

At least two people were injured in a two vehicle crash Friday night on Highway 29 near Quintette Road.
The accident happened about 10:45 p.m., shutting down southbound Highway 29 for nearly an hour. One driver was trapped and freed using the Jaws of Life.
The accident remains under investigation by the Florida Highway Patrol. The Cantonment and Molino stations of Escambia Fire Rescue and Escambia County EMS also responded to the crash.
