FHP Seeks Hit And Run Driver

The Florida Highway Patrol is looking for a man possibly known by “J.R.”  that fled from an accident scene Monday.

The man, pictured on this page, left the scene of the  12:32 p.m. crash  at the Circle K on Olive Road  near Scenic Highway before law enforcement arrived and did not return to the scene, according to FHP.

He was driving a 2008 Chevrolet Malibu and turned into the path of another vehicle and also struck a parked vehicle. The drivers of those vehicles suffered minor injuries.

The man is now wanted for hit and run plus additional pending charges.

    He will be busted in no time. People need to call crime stoppers and get their $1000.

    I could use that amount of money. I will be on the lookout for this guy. He probably lives in that general area. I will check in those apartments on Spanish Trail (The Moorings) and on E Johnson Ave (Essex Point Apartments). Locate the Chevrolet with damage. It would help to know the color.

    I am sure that “P TOWN” tattoo will be pretty helpful; I can only imagine he is already in the system. A quick search of that tattoo through FCIC/NCIC should make short work on him. Good job to whomever documented the accident scene so well.
