Four people were displaced from their home after a reported fire early Monday morning in Cantonment.

There were no injuries reported. The cause of the fire remains under investigation,  but may have been attributed to a washing machine.

The washing machine could very well be the culprit. The computer boards in these new machines are totally wacko. You definetely cannot leave the house and leave a washer running. They spin and spin for 15 minutes or more – can easily overheat. They may be energy saving appliances – but total junk!
