Escambia Man Faces Up To Life In Prison For Child Sex Abuse

An Escambia County man is facing up to live in prison after being convicted of child sexual abuse.
Timothy Hibbard was convicted of lewd or lascivious molestation on a victim under 12 years of age by an Escambia County Jury. Circuit Hibbard is scheduled to be sentenced on October 27. He is facing a minimum mandatory sentence of 25 years with a maximum penalty of life in prison.
In September 2016, a child disclosed that the defendant sexually abused her early that year.
