September 1, 2017
A Cantonment man has been arrested after allegedly beating his brother with a tee-ball bat during a dispute over his girlfriend.
Dumars De’Angelo Beasley, 25, was charged with aggravated battery using deadly weapon.
The victim told Escambia County deputies that Beasley, his brother, knocked on his door and asked him to step outside. He said the two got into a disagreement after Beasley accused him of becoming involved with Beasley’s girlfriend. During the altercation, Beasley began to beat his brother with a tee-ball bat.
Beasley remained in the Escambia County Jail Friday morning with bond set at $17,500.

We can agree to disagree but it’s off limit to fight your own sibling. It takes the bigger person to walk away. My question would be. Where is the love that you both have for one another.? Not only that, what position do you think you put your mom in. It’s obvious neither one of you was thinking clearly. It’s best not to try communicating when your upset. As the old saying, goes, trouble is easy to get into and can be very difficult to get out of. Remember prayer will change anything. Peace and love to the world.
I agree with Bewildered about bonds being inconsistent. Big problem.
I am truly bewildered with these bond amounts. The guy that recklessly drove his vehicle deliberately into the Sacred Heart emergency room with no regard for human life under the influence of all kinds of substances causing $80 000 damage, choked his girlfriend until she was unconscious got a combined bond for his 2 arrests of only $8000 and this guy gets more than double the bond amount. Previous convictions? – in this case i dont care. I consider the driving menace person a lot more dangerous to the public than the family squabble over a love triangle.
Just saying, a Tee-ball bat is no different than any other bat.! It is merely a bit shorter, but it has weight to it and it can do damage.
T ball bat….deadly weapon? Ump we need a common sense call on this one.
