A teenager was seriously injured in a single vehicle rollover accident Wednesday night in Cantonment.
The 16-year old girl lost control of her vehicle, ran off the road and overturned into a ditch alongside East Kingsfield Road between Elevenmile Creek and Highway 297A. She was trapped in the vehicle, with first responders using the Jaw of Life to free her.
The driver was transported by Escambia County EMS to a Pensacola hospital as a “trauma alert.”
The accident remains under investigation by the Florida Highway Patrol. Further details have not yet been released.

Enough of the East vs West crap. It doesn’t matter. What matters is, this young lady needs our thoughts and prayers. Praying for a full recovery.
Prayers for this family and their precious daughter!
East becomes West at Stink Creek, also known as Eleven Mile Creek. Don’t believe
it ask the Post Office.
I live on E Kingsfield near Tate High School. In reference to another story, if the police want to write more tickets just sit in my driveway and get the speeders, tailgaters , and hot rodders. Until then, there will be more of these crashes.
BTW: Kingsfield changes from East to West at 297A. (Not 29)
It is west Kingsfield road. That’s where 297A is located. William is right.
Praying for all the family with Special Prayers for Your Daughter.
